A motor in a rooftop air conditioning unit caused smoke, but no fire, in the Urgi-Care building, 875 Hospital Road, White Township, at 5:07 p.m. Thursday.

Volunteers from Companies 1 and 2 of the Indiana Fire Association responded to the alarm.

Indiana Regional Medical Center spokesman Mark Richards said the building was evacuated as a precaution and Urgi-Care operations were back to normal this morning. (Teri Enciso/Gazette photo)
