Volunteer firefighters from three communities used hydraulic rescue tools to lift an overturned farm tractor from a man just after 6 p.m. Sunday along Treece Road, Conemaugh Township.

Rick Bouch, chief of the Tunnelton-Conemaugh Township Fire Department, said the tractor slid backward on a hillside and rolled over, pinning the man underneath. Another person at the scene called 911 for help.

Bouch did not have the injured man’s name. No information was available on his condition.

Firefighters from Saltsburg and Blairsville also assisted in freeing the injured man and carried him in a Stokes basket to a waiting ambulance.
