Man shot in thigh during dispute
CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP — A Penn Run area man was jailed overnight to await court action on attempted homicide and related charges connected to a shooting late Wednesday afternoon.
Kenneth Lobur, 50, is accused of shooting Kevin Swegles’ thigh during a domestic dispute at 162 Jacobs Lane.
Swegles, 57, was treated at the Indiana Regional Medical Center emergency department then was released, a hospital spokeswoman said this morning.
State police at Indiana reported Kenneth Lobur first fought with John Lobur Jr., 53, about 5:15 p.m. and cut his head, then Kenneth Lobur drew a .22-caliber revolver and fired several shots at Swegles.
Troopers arrested Lobur at the scene, according to a report.
