Official facing DUI charge
WASHINGTON (AP) — A southwestern Pennsylvania school district superintendent has been charged with driving under the influence.
Court records indicate Paul Kasunich, 54, of Sewickley, was charged Wednesday with DUI and two traffic violations stemming from an incident Sunday, when he was pulled over by a police officer in Ohio Township.
Kasunich is superintendent of the Trinity Area School District in Washington County. He did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
School district solicitor Dennis Makel said the district will investigate but he otherwise declined to comment.
Kasunich is due in court for a preliminary hearing on March 13.
