Officials investigate woman's death
CLYMER — The death of a Clymer woman, whose body was found Friday morning outside her home, is under investigation by state and local police, the coroner and the district attorney.
An employee at a nearby business discovered the body of Janice Keith, 66, around 10 a.m. in the snow beside a small porch at her home at 150 Spruce St., said Indiana County District Attorney Patrick Dougherty.
Keith was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:20 a.m. by Chad E. Dill, Indiana County chief deputy coroner, according to a statement today from Indiana County Coroner Jerry L. Overman Jr.

Keith lived alone in the house.
All possible causes remain under consideration, and officials are treating it as a suspicious death, according to Dougherty.
An autopsy “hopefully will shed some light on this,” Dougherty said.
According to Overman’s office, the autopsy was expected to be performed this morning at UPMC Altoona, and Overman said he expected to have results this afternoon.
John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana, is handling funeral arrangements for Keith.
