A 14-year-old driver and a 3-year-old were uninjured when the Dodge Neon the teen was driving crashed into the side of a home in Bell Township, Clearfield County, just before 8:30 p.m. Friday near Burnside McGee Highway, state police at Punxsutawney said.

The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, fishtailed, struck an embankment, then traveled 15 feet through the air before coming to rest when it struck the house.

An occupant of the home was taken to Punxsutawney Hospital to be treated for minor injuries after being struck by debris that flew through the house upon the car’s impact, according to police.

The driver and passenger were transported to the hospital as well, but did not appear to have suffered any injuries, according to police.

The 3-year-old was not in a car seat, police reported, but was in the front seat of the car, wearing a seat belt.
