Theft from a vehicle

State police in Indiana reported someone stole a Hampton Quality Flooring business checkbook belonging to Christine Hampton, of Indiana, out of Hampton’s friend’s car at Sheetz between 10 p.m. and midnight Saturday.


Access device fraud

State police in Indiana reported a known suspect used Joseph S. Matt’s debit card to remove $386 from his bank account Feb. 9 or 10. Police said the investigation is ongoing.


Retail theft

State police in Indiana reported Sharief Allen, 19, of Indiana, and a 17-year-old Indiana youth stole merchandise six times from TJ Maxx between Jan. 20 and Feb. 10. Each theft was under $150, according to police. Allen was charged with four of the thefts, and the juvenile was charged with the other two, according to police.



Someone hit a 2009 Honda Civic parked in the Goodwill parking lot on Oakland Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Saturday, then left the scene, state police in Indiana reported.



A juvenile boy was charged with harassing a girl at the S&T Bank Arena on East Pike after a fight around 9:45 p.m. Saturday, state police in Indiana reported.


DUI arrest

Johnathon Michael Carnahan, 35, of Shelocta, was arrested after a traffic accident at an unspecified location around 11:35 p.m. March 2 under suspicion of DUI, state police in Indiana reported.


Criminal mischief

Someone damaged a light in a yard in the 600 block of Croyland Avenue sometime Sunday night, Indiana Borough police reported.



A child’s Barbie scooter was stolen from the first block of North 11th Street overnight Saturday or Sunday, Indiana Borough police reported.



State police in Indiana reported someone took an orange, 50-foot extension cord worth $20 from Helen Marie Gromley’s home at 88 Schrader Ave. between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.
