Drug violation: State police at Indiana said that Nathan Deitman, 25, of Indiana, was taken into custody on active Indiana County bench warrants during a traffic stop at 10:06 a.m. Friday on Wayne Avenue at Hospital Road. Police said Deitman had a hypodermic needle concealed in his waistband.
He was placed in the Indiana County Jail on the bench warrants.
Disorderly conduct: Indiana police were dispatched to the Adelphoi Village Academy, 220 N. Fifth St., at 10:25 a.m. Friday, for a male acting disorderly.
A teacher told police the male juvenile, who was not identified by police, had been in an altercation during a basketball game and threw a chair and a hockey stick while yelling at another student. Police cited the juvenile for disorderly conduct.
Derry Township, Westmoreland County
Harassment: State police at Indiana said Russell Libengood, 50, of Clarksburg, and William Citeroni, 47, of Homer City, engaged in a road rage incident at 3:30 p.m. March 13 on Route 22.
Police said Citeroni pulled into a parking lot and Libengood followed. An argument ensued and Libengood pushed Citeroni, according to police.
Libengood was charged with harassment.
Avonmore, Westmoreland County
Theft by deception: State police at the Kiski Valley station said Jennifer Craft, 39, of Blairsville, was charged with theft by deception after she opened an account with Peoples Natural Gas in the name of Karlee Rager, 18, of Saltsburg, without Rager’s consent. A charge of $651.80 is past due, police said.
