Emily Bellush, of Indiana, told state police that someone intentionally damaged her vehicle on Jan. 18 or 19 while it was parked at 2115 Lazor St., troopers at Indiana reported in a news release issued Tuesday.
Police did not identify a suspect or report whether anyone was charged.
Jarrod Greek, 28, of Marion Center, and Danielle Schmidt, 21, of Graceton, were cited by state police on Thursday with summary counts of harassment resulting from an altercation at 7:30 p.m. March 16 at 17 Second St.
Luann Wolfe, 40, of Saltsburg, was charged by state police at Indiana with two counts of theft and one count of receiving stolen property in connection with the reported theft of jewelry belonging to Richard Blair between Jan. 1 and Feb. 12 from 1927 McIntyre Road.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled April 24 in Blairsville District Court.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported the theft of a highway safety sign from Route 22 near Route 119.
A yellow sign with flashing lights, warning truck drivers of a curve in the highway, went missing in October, according to a news release issued Tuesday by state police at Indiana.
Cowanshannock Township, Armstrong County
State police reported a man walking along an unused railroad trail near Route 85 and Kennerdale Lane tried to abduct a 9-year-old Kittanning girl at 4:53 p.m. Monday.
According to a report, the man chased the girl about one-quarter mile, grabbed her, then released her when she bit his hand.
Police searched the area and found no one matching the man’s description, and uncovered no evidence to prove that a chase occurred, troopers at Kittanning reported. The incident remains under investigation.
Bell Township, Jefferson County
Someone damaged a mailbox belonging to Mary Ann Patterson and Grant Schuckers on their property at 939 Trout Run Road near Punxsutawney, state police reported.
The mailbox was damaged Thursday, according to troopers at Punxsutawney.
