Indiana University of Pennsylvania police reported Nathan Wright Jr., 19, no hometown listed, was arrested and held in the Indiana County Jail after he was found vomiting and unconscious in the third floor lobby of Suites on Pratt around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Police said he faces charges of public drunkenness and underage drinking.

Santana Lashay David, 20, of Pittsburgh, was arrested and held in the Indiana County Jail after she was found to be intoxicated in the third floor hallway of University Towers around 2:15 a.m. Saturday, IUP police reported. She faces charges of underage drinking and public drunkenness, police reported.

IUP police reported Nathan Alan Ellwood, 21, no hometown listed, was arrested for public drunkenness after he tried to enter a building in the 200 block of West Avenue around 11:58 p.m. Friday.

He was released to a sober adult after being treated at Indiana Regional Medical Center, according to police.


Someone scrawled graffiti with a black permanent marker on the white vinyl siding of a house at South Sixth and Locust streets on Saturday or Sunday, Indiana Borough police reported.

Also between April 3 and Monday someone wrote on a traffic light control box at South Sixth and School streets and on another control box on South Ninth and Church streets, according to police.



A white Chevrolet Silverado drove from the scene of an accident around 8:45 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Locust Street, Indiana Borough police reported. The vehicle should have minor damage to the passenger side, according to police.



Doralee Thompson, no age reported, of Indiana, told state police in Indiana that a television and VCR were taken from her home at 840 Laurel St. while she was working from 3 to 11:30 p.m. Friday, according to police reports. Police said she believes acquaintances may be responsible for the theft.


Criminal mischief

Someone damaged Stacey Bartlebaugh’s mailboxes on Warren Road around 7:28 p.m. Sunday, state police in Indiana reported.



Someone stole a propane tank from a grill on Anne Daymut’s back porch at 121 Fourth St. between March 23 and Sunday, state police in Kittanning reported.


Retail theft

Someone drove off without paying for 30 gallons of gasoline valued at $116.90 from the J&P Pit Stop Sunoco on Route 982 at Chestnut Street around 4:11 p.m. March 1, state police in Greensburg reported today.
