Kaleb Young, 25, of Florence, Ky., was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence around 12:18 a.m. Tuesday after a traffic stop at Church and Sixth streets, state police in Indiana reported.

Underage drinking

Indiana University of Pennsylvania police reported Dean James Demartino, 19, of Harrison, was cited with underage drinking and public drunkenness around 12:24 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Grant Street.

Jay Fisher, 18, of Huntingdon Valley, was cited with underage drinking around 7:39 a.m. Friday, IUP police reported. Police said Fisher was passed out in the third floor lobby of Wallwork Hall.

James Ryan O’Connor, 18, of Finksburg, Md., was cited with underage drinking and public drunkenness around 3 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Pratt Drive, IUP police reported. Police said he was transported to Indiana Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment.

Leigh Young Nicholas, 18, of Lancaster, was cited with underage drinking around 2:20 a.m. Sunday on the first floor of Northern Suites, IUP police reported.


Criminal mischief

Someone threw a glass beer bottle through a window at The Gym at 1870 Oakland Ave. Monday or Tuesday, state police in Indiana reported.


David C. O’Conner, 27, of Indiana, and Heather May Stewart, 30, of Indiana, were cited with harassment stemming from Facebook comments around 5:18 p.m. April 6, state police in Indiana reported. Police said they took pictures of one another’s homes and posted annoying and harassing comments on Facebook.

Retail theft

Kenneth Johnson, 25, of Creekside, and Chad Adamsky, 25, of Vintondale, were charged with stealing $48 worth of goods from Walmart around 7:48 p.m. April 7, state police in Indiana reported.

Jacob Matthew Hoover, 18, of Marion Center, was charged with retail theft, harassment and disorderly conduct around 1:10 p.m. April 4 at Walmart on Oakland Avenue, state police in Indiana reported.

Police said he was found to be in possession of merchandise valued at $78.35. While detained by Walmart personnel, police said he shoved Matthew Patrick, 22, of Adrian, and caused a disturbance.


Drug paraphernalia

State police in Punxsutawney reported two marijuana smoking devices were found in two bedrooms at a residence at 17923 Route 119 in the village of Covode around 8:50 a.m. Tuesday. One was in the bedroom of a 24-year-old man, of Punxsutawney, who was arrested on a parole violation and held in the Indiana County Jail to await a hearing. Police did not identify him.

The other smoking device was in the bedroom of a 17-year-old boy, according to police.

Both face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported.


Criminal mischief

State police in Kittanning reported someone damaged the door to Frank Wofford Jr.’s storage facility across from 244 Barks Hill Road on Monday or Tuesday, then fled the scene.


Drug possession

Thomas Daniel Fairbanks, 30, and Jessey Mayes Gervasoni, 19, both of Saltsburg, were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop around 7:33 p.m. March 3 on Route 981, state police in Kiski Valley reported. Charges were filed April 10. Fairbanks was also cited with a number of traffic violations, police said.
