Drug paraphernalia

Indiana University of Pennsylvania police charged IUP student Keenan Taylor, 18, of Pittsburgh, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Taylor had the paraphernalia at 12:24 a.m. Saturday in Delaney Hall.


Justin Jackson, 30, of Strongsville, Ohio, was charged with DUI and two summary traffic offenses following a stop at 11:40 p.m. Feb. 1 on Maple Street at Wayne Avenue, according to IUP police.

Theft from vehicle

State police at Indiana did not identify the 82-year-old Indiana resident who was the victim of a theft from his vehicle in the borough between March 30 and April 1.

Police said a certificate of stock was stolen from the man’s vehicle.

White Township

Retail thefts

State police at Indiana arrested Heather Forsell, 44, of Coral, and charged her with retail theft.

Police said Forsell stole merchandise from Walmart at 11:08 a.m. Monday and then returned the stolen merchandise to the store for a gift card.

State police at Indiana charged Nichole Smay, 29, of Shelocta, with retail theft.

Police said Smay tried to steal $15 worth of merchandise from the Giant Eagle, 475 Ben Franklin Road, at 5:19 p.m. April 5.
