Someone stole a 9-foot-by-4-foot metal sign frame for Gatti Health Care Inc. on Wayne Avenue between Friday and Monday, state police in Indiana reported.



State police in Indiana are looking for David O’Connor, 28, of Blairsville, who is accused of burglary, theft and criminal trespass around 10:50 a.m. Saturday at the home of Brandy Silvis, 27, on Spring Street.

Police reported O’Connor entered Silvis’ trailer and said he had lived there before moving to Blairsville; he left with a game belonging to Silvis, police said.

In a separate incident that occurred at the same time, Silvis told police that an unknown person entered her home while she was out between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday, and defecated in her toilet.




Indiana Borough police reported someone used a marker to write letters and characters, possibly representing a foreign language, on a metal traffic control signal box in the first block of South Sixth Street. The graffiti was discovered Monday.


Disorderly conduct

Campus police at Indiana University of Pennsylvania reported that a female student told them someone put fecal matter on her wash cloth in Putt Hall around 2 a.m. April 22. The investigation continues.




Deborah Ann Siford, 55, and Lawrence Siford, 76, both of Cherry Tree, were cited with harassment after an altercation around 8:45 p.m. Saturday at 4174 Grisemore Road, state police in Indiana reported.



Access device fraud

Erika Danielle Edwards, 25, of Latrobe, and an unidentified second person were charged with access device fraud and receiving stolen property after a traffic stop around 6:50 p.m. April 23 at the Kwik Fill on Route 217, state police in Greensburg reported.

Police said they had a bank card and a personal check in their possession that had been stolen from Denise Valasko, 55, of Latrobe.


Criminal mischief

Someone damaged a window at Old Salem Church on Route 982 North between April 20 and Thursday, state police in Greensburg reported.

Someone damaged Cody Louis Kutzer’s vehicle at 1107 Hunter Road Thursday or Friday, state police in Greensburg reported.

Someone destroyed the passenger’s side mirror on a vehicle belonging to Wayne Criado, of Latrobe, overnight Saturday into Sunday on Old Latrobe-Derry Road, state police in Greensburg reported.

State police in Greensburg reported someone damaged the dashboard of a vehicle on Lincoln Avenue Saturday or Sunday. The vehicle belongs to a 46-year-old Derry woman, according to police.



State police in Greensburg reported someone stole belongings out of vehicles parked at St. Rose’s Church, 4969 Route 982, between 8 and 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

The person broke a window to Coreen Poklembo’s vehicle and stole a purse, as well as taking items from vehicles belonging to Joan Divittis Zankowski and Jason Guy Haberstroh.


Drug charges

A 21-year-old Indiana County man was accused of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop March 3 on Route 981 near Strawcutter Road, state police in Greensburg reported. The man was not identified by police.
