Criminal mischief

According to Indiana Borough police, someone attempted to steal a catalytic converter from a GMC van that was parked at a residence in the 200 block of Philadelphia Street during the early morning hours of Friday.


Criminal trespass

Indiana state police are investigating an incident in which a suspect walked in to the Campus Crest Construction site, at 201 Acorn St., in violation of a posted “no trespassing” sign between 8:15 and 8:24 a.m. Friday.

The suspect was confronted by a construction supervisor, but ignored his request to leave the premises.

The suspect was described as an Asian male, 25 to 30 years old, wearing a ball cap, a black long-sleeve shirt and dark windbreaker-style pants, according to police.



According to state police, an unknown suspect forcibly entered a garage on Flowers Road between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 a.m. Thursday and stole items owned by David Reid, of Latrobe, and Anthony Flack, of Derry.

The suspect took various tools including socket sets and a ratchet set, with all stolen items valued at $785.

Disorderly conduct

State police reported Deborah Louise Oskey, 52, of Marianne Drive, Latrobe, called 911 at 10:55 p.m. June 15 while intoxicated to report an emergency that did not occur.

Oskey, according to state police, has a history of abusing 911 and was charged with disorderly conduct.
