White Township


Zitong Weng told state police at Indiana that a burglar entered his residence in the Copper Beech apartments and took a Vizio television, a Playstation 3 with four games, an HP computer and an iPad.

Police said the burglary happened between June 8 and Saturday.


Criminal mischief

State police at Indiana said someone printed a racial slur in what appeared to be red nail polish on the rear sliding door of Tanisha Joyner’s apartment. No street address was provided by police.


Burnside Township, Clearfield County

Criminal mischief

Someone cut the liner on an above-ground swimming pool at the Michael Rummel residence along Fire Tower Road, draining approximately 4,700 gallons of water.

State police at Punxsutawney said the criminal mischief was done Saturday night or Sunday morning and caused $600 damage.



Gregory Dyda, of 557 Patchin Highway, Cherry Tree, told state police at Punxsutawney someone removed a 4½-foot-tall wood carving of a black bear from his driveway.

The carving was stolen Friday night or Saturday morning, according to police.


Burrell Township

Attempted burglary

State police at Indiana are investigating an attempted burglary at the residence of Christopher Gaggini, at 800 Old Indiana Road.

Police said someone opened a window to Gaggini’s residence but could not get inside.


Cherryhill Township


Richard Bishop told state police at Indiana someone entered his garage along Route 553 at about 4 a.m. Saturday and caused $360 damage to a Jeep by breaking a window and damaging a door. The damage was not specified.

The burglar also took cigarettes from the Jeep, police said.
