Public drunkenness

IUP campus police said they cited Timothy Ryan Moore, 22, of Altoona, with public drunkenness early Saturday morning. Police said Moore was found passed out in a stairwell at the Hadley Union Building parking lot.


Criminal mischief

Risinger Landscaping Supplies & Excavating, 501 Indian Springs Road, reported that someone took a company truck and trailer and left the rig jackknifed in the business’s parking are, state police in Indiana said. Police said the incident occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. July 13 and 7 a.m. July 14. The perpetrator damaged the truck’s bumper, police said.


Theft from vehicle

Someone stole an undisclosed amount of cash from an unlocked vehicle parked in Colonial Estates on Saturday, according to state police in Indiana.


Terroristic threats

State police in Indiana said they arrested James Shetler, 39, of Robinson, after he pulled a knife on Elizabeth Burley, 43, and a 1-year-old boy during an argument at 35 Front St. Shetler has been charged with making terroristic threats, simple assault, public drunkenness, harassment and disorderly conduct



James Robert Gunter, 48, of Plumville, has been charged with drunken driving following a July 4 traffic stop on North Penn Street, according to state police in Punxsutawney. Police said they pulled over Gunter after observing a passenger, Carla Lee Story, 47, of Punxsutawney, throw firecrackers from the vehicle. Police said Story was cited with disorderly conduct.
