False reports

A 14-year-old Marion Center female was charged with making false reports to law enforcement after reporting she was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance between July 25 and Friday, police said.

After a detailed investigation, police determined the accuser had not been sexually assaulted, but had participated in consensual sex, according state police at Indiana.

Charges were filed through the Indiana County juvenile probation office.

Criminal mischief

State police at Indiana report that on Thursday someone scratched the bumper of a Jeep owned by Heather Lange, 29, of Armagh, in the Giant Eagle parking lot.


Criminal mischief

Someone threw a rock through a window at the home of Sean Baker, 39, of Clarksburg, on Friday, state police at Indiana reported.


Disorderly conduct

William Yarger, of Marion Center, reported on Sunday that he saw an unknown man urinating in public outside of the Dayton Feed Mill, state police at Kittanning reported.
