White Township

Simple assault

State police at Indiana said Janie Davis, 36, of Indiana, and Florenda Nicholson, 60, of St. Robert, Mo., engaged in a verbal and physical altercation at 10:40 a.m. Friday at 5150 White Oak Drive.

Police said both women suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Both were arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment.

Burrell Township

Criminal mischief

Between 5 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, someone caused $560 worth of damage to eight exterior windows at the Weir Oil & Gas building at 1519 Route 22.

State police at Indiana said the windows were shot with a BB or pellet gun.


Sign stolen

A large sign reading “Welcome Back Students” was stolen by a male suspect at 3:11 a.m. Saturday from the 1200 block of Oakland Avenue.

Indiana police said the sign measures 10 feet by 2οΎ½ feet.

Anyone with information on the missing sign is asked to call Indiana police at (724) 349-2121.

Pine Township

Retail theft

The unknown driver of a gray Toyota Highlander drove away from the Strongstown General Store at 14345 Route 422 without paying for $62.53 worth of gasoline. State police at Indiana said the retail theft happened at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 1.
