Criminal mischief

Someone scratched the driver’s side door on a vehicle belonging to Marjorie E. Williams, 72, of Indiana, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the incident occurred Thursday while her vehicle was parked at Pete’s Auction Barn.


Disorderly conduct

Borough police said they cited Eric Scull, no age given, of DuBois, with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking early this morning. Police said an officer saw Scull trying to start a fight with another man while along the 900 block of Wayne Avenue. When the officer tried to stop Scull, he ran, police said. Scull was later caught on the 500 block of South Seventh Street.



Campus police charged Mario Shaquille Sanders, 20, of Erie, with simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and underage drinking at 9:31 p.m. Oct. 3 after officers found him involved in a fight in the arena at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, investigators reported. Sanders is scheduled to appear Nov. 4 for a preliminary hearing.


Underage drinking

Kody Decker, 21, of Carmichaels, Greene County, was cited with underage drinking by IUP campus police at 8:34 p.m. Oct. 3 at the KCAC and was temporarily detained at the county jail.

Amber Brown, 20, of Apollo, was cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking at 9:46 p.m. Oct. 3 in the KCAC, according to IUP campus police. Police said she was found vomiting in a restroom and was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment before being taken to the county jail. Brown filed an application for accelerated-rehabilitative disposition on Wednesday at Indiana District Court, online court records show.


Disorderly conduct

Two boys were cited for disorderly conduct following a fight Sept. 30 at Indiana Area High School, according to state police in Indiana.



Courtland Beach, 21, of Armagh, stole money from a donation jar at Back To Nature food store, 2450 Warren Road, on Sept. 23, state police at Indiana reported. Beach was charged with a misdemeanor count of theft at Homer City District Court and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 18.



A coal-fired boiler was taken from a rental property along Main Street sometime between Jan. 1, 2012, and May 1 of this year, according to state police in Indiana. Police said they have a suspect.



State police cited Janet Johns, 69, of Clarksburg, with a summary count of harassment in connection with an argument involving Virginia Jones, of Blairsville, at 3 p.m. Sept. 27 at 56 Trolley St.



Darrel Henline, 21, of Commodore, shoved Carol Boring, of Armagh, and bit her finger at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22 during an altercation at 125 W. Philadelphia St., state police reported.

Troopers filed a summary citation accusing Henline of harassment.



Someone pried open a back door of a house owned by Jeremy Coble, at 1577 Sportsburg Road, between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, and stole $1,000 and an Apple iPod Touch, state police at Punxsutawney reported.

St. Clair Township, Westmoreland County


State police reported David Mauk, of New Florence, hit Autumn Smith, of New Florence, at 1:50 a.m. Sunday during a domestic dispute at 129 Osborn St.

Mauk, 25, was cited Tuesday with a summary count of harassment.



Underage drinking

Jordan Brown, 20, of Derry, was cited by state police at Greensburg with underage drinking and public drunkenness at 3:46 a.m. Sept. 29 outside a house at 254 Strawcutter Road.



A drag-line bucket weighing six tons and metal casings were stolen from a Beilchick Brothers Coal Mining strip mine off Malloy Hollow Road sometime between Sept. 2 and 23, according to state police in Indiana.
