Borough police are looking for the man who pulled his pants down and flashed a person who was stopped at a traffic light in the 800 block of Church Street Wednesday night. Police said the man was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Anyone with any information has been asked to call borough police at (724) 349-2121.
People riding in a dark-colored sedan threw eggs at pedestrians along the 800 block of Wayne Avenue on Friday night, according to borough police. Police said the incident occurred around 10 p.m.
Someone entered the home of Faith Krouse, 71, of Kimmel Road, and stole a small safe containing paperwork, a small coin bank, gift cards and jewelry, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the incident occurred between 6 p.m. Monday and 5 p.m. Wednesday.
EAST MAHONING TOWNSHIP
A tailgate and pins from a 40-foot dump trailer parked near 1790 Richmond Road were stolen sometime between noon Oct. 2 and 6:30 p.m., according to state police in Indiana. Police said the trailer belongs to James Frampton. The estimated loss was set at $5,000.
A mailbox belonging to Francis Burba, 56, of Acorn Road, was damaged Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, according to state police in Indiana.
WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
Someone entered the home of Elizabeth Burkley, of Robinson, and stole a video game system and games, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the theft occurred between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was set at $400.
Scott Corbin, who is running for Conemaugh Township tax collector, reported that someone took 10 campaign signs that had been posted throughout the township. Corbin told police the theft occurred between Wednesday and Friday. Police said Corbin is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
