False ID

Travis Hallam, 20, of Washington, Washington County, was charged with a misdemeanor count of presenting false identification to law enforcement authorities and summary counts of public drunkenness and underage drinking at 2:49 a.m. Feb. 6 outside the Stephenson Hall dormitory along Maple Street.

Online court records show Hallam was scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing today in Indiana District Court.

Found property

An iPhone was found lying in the snow along Fisher Avenue on Sunday night, according to state police in Indiana.

The owner may claim the phone by calling the state police barracks at (724) 357-1960.


Criminal mischief

Someone damaged four tires on four separate vehicles at Tri-Star Motors, North Fourth Street, sometime between Saturday and Monday, according to state police in Indiana. A tire on another vehicle was found to have been cut on Wednesday, police said.



The driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck drove away after a collision at 9:45 p.m. Sunday on Route 210, state police at Kittanning reported. According to a report, the truck hit the side of a car driven by Sean Jacobs, of Creekside, while passing the car near Racetrack Road. Jacobs’ car spun and hit a guardrail while the pickup drove from the scene, police said. No injuries were reported.
