James Wilson, 35, of Creekside, has been lodged at the Indiana County Jail the past three weeks awaiting court action on drunken-driving allegations, state police reported.
In a news release issued Saturday, troopers reported that Wilson was found intoxicated at the parking lot of the Dollar General store along North Fourth Street on May 21.
Wilson was jailed that day and charged with four counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, all first-degree misdemeanors, a summary count of public intoxication and a summary traffic violation.
Court records show Wilson has been unable to post $5,000 cash bail for release from jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 2 in Indiana District Court.
Wilson is represented by the Indiana County public defender’s office.

Gary Tantlinger, 36, of Homer City, was held at the Indiana County Jail following a traffic stop at 11:26 p.m. Friday on North Fourth Street between Oak and Chestnut streets, Indiana Borough police reported.
Officers alleged that Tantlinger had no permit for a loaded gun that was found concealed in his vehicle, and reported that he would be held for preliminary arraignment before District Judge Jennifer Rega.
Someone removed a 10-by-20-foot aluminum canopy from a house at 977 Gemmell Road and stored it in a wooded area on the same property, state police reported.
The property owner, whose name was not released, told police the canopy was moved between October and May 10.
Derry Township, Westmoreland County
Two people were cited following a disturbance at 7:50 p.m. June 5 at 541 Ridge Ave., state police at Greensburg reported.
Denise Smolleck, 39, of Derry Township, got into a physical altercation with Janice Thomas, 49, of Derry Township, and struck Daniel Thomas, 54, of Derry Township, according to a report.
Smolleck was cited with two counts of harassment and Janice Thomas was cited with one count, court records show.
