Borough police said they charged David K. Jamieson, 41, of Greensburg, and Timothy McQuaide, 57, of Indiana, with various offenses following a fight between the two men shortly after 2 p.m. Friday. According to police, the fight began inside The Coney, which McQuaide and his family owns, and then moved outside to South Carpenter Avenue, where an officer found the two.
Police said that Jamieson, who allegedly had refused to leave the bar and struck McQuaide, was taken into custody. While in the police station, he threatened to kill McQuaide, telling officers that he would do so with his own hands and asking how much a headstone would cost, police said.
Jamieson is charged with making terroristic threats, harassment and public drunkenness. He was arraigned before District Judge George Thachik and later released after posting a $2,500 cash bond.
Police said McQuaide was cited with harassment and disorderly conduct.
State police in Indiana said they cited Gregory Dean Cunningham, 44, of Indiana, with harassment. According to police, Cunningham grabbed a woman’s arm while at his East Oak Street residence on June 11. Police did not identify the woman.
