State police reported that Muhammad Maxwell, 27, of Indiana, leveled threats against a group of people and attempted to goad one into a fight at 7:20 p.m. Aug. 8 at Kennedy-King Park along Clinton Street.
Troopers cited Maxwell on Wednesday with a summary count of disorderly conduct.
Karl Hainsey Jr., 20, of Gilbertsville, Montgomery County, was lodged at the Indiana County Jail at 12:08 a.m. today after Indiana Borough police reported he was found intoxicated on the 700 block of Carter Avenue.

Borough police reported Michael Weir, 27, of New Florence, was held at the Indiana County Jail after being found intoxicated on the 600 block of Water Street at 2:40 a.m. today.

Bart Murphy, 20, of Pittsburgh was discovered in possession of a can of beer and “manifestly under the influence” at 12:08 a.m. today on the 500 block of South Sixth Street and was jailed on a temporary detainer, borough police reported.
A man stole three electronic cigarettes from the Smokey Hookah shop, 726 Philadelphia St., at about 9:51 p.m. Wednesday, Indiana Borough police reported.
Witnesses told police the suspect was black, about 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-9 and heavyset, and wore a short-sleeved shirt, camo shorts and a ball cap.
Aaron Palmer, 37, of Strongstown, was charged Friday by state police in Indiana with driving under the influence and four summary traffic violations in connection with a traffic stop at 6:49 p.m. Aug. 1 on Route 22 on Penn View Mountain.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 24 in Blairsville District Court.
State police reported a customer bought fuel at Mack’s Mini Mart, 90 Indiana St., at various times on Aug. 15 and charged the purchases to a Latrobe Window Cleaning company charge account without authorization. Troopers withheld the suspect’s name and did not report whether charges have been filed.
