Criminal trespass

Between 4:45 and 5:45 p.m. Friday, a residence in the 300 block of South Sixth Street was broken into, according to Indiana police.

Nothing was stolen, but police said two doors at the residence were badly damaged by the forced entry.

Car damaged

Indiana police said a window of a silver Honda Accord was smashed while the car was parked in a private lot in the 700 block of Wayne Avenue.

Police said the criminal mischief happened between Wednesday and Saturday.

Young Township


Teresa Allshouse, of Saltsburg Road, told state police at Indiana someone used her ATM debit card to make fraudulent charges on her account totaling $2,008.01.

Police said the charges were made Aug. 21.

White Township


State police at Indiana said someone broke into the Copper Beech Townhouse apartment of Talal Alshehri Wednesday. Police said $150 was stolen from a wallet in the apartment.

Center Township

Traffic arrest

State police at Indiana said Matthew Rura, 49, of Clymer, was seen driving a motorcycle on Route 119 at 7:50 p.m. Aug. 19.

Police followed Rura to the Kwik Fill along Route 119 where he was arrested for being a habitual offender, driving without a license, driving while under a suspension and driving an unregistered vehicle.

He was placed in the Indiana County Jail.
