Indiana Borough police discovered Nicholas Lonardi, 21, of Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, on the back porch of a residence in the 200 block of Elm Street at 3:26 a.m. Friday, according to a report.
A resident reported to police that a stranger on the porch had smashed the rear door. Lonardi, a student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, was charged in a criminal complaint with a misdemeanor count of loitering and prowling at night time and summary counts of public drunkenness and criminal mischief.
A hearing date has not yet been set.
Borough police cited Raymond Solis, of Clearfield, with public drunkenness and lodged him at the Indiana County Jail following an incident at a convenience store early today. Officers arrested Solis, 24, following a report of an intoxicated man at 2:53 a.m. at Sheetz, 768 Wayne Ave., according to a report.

David Lee, of Rochester Mills, was sent to the county jail early today following a shoplifting investigation at a convenience store, borough police reported.
Officers responded at 2:52 a.m. to a report of an intoxicated man at Sheetz, 380 Philadelphia St., and discovered Lee, 39, exiting the store with a bag of potato chips that he hadn’t purchased, according to a news release.
Police cited Lee with retail theft and public drunkenness and temporarily detained him at the jail.
State police reported that someone entered the residence of Deven Cochran along Josephine Avenue and stole various property and money on Wednesday.
The missing goods include a Glock .40-caliber handgun, an Xbox One game system and an HP brand laptop computer. The intruder also took $500, according to the report.

A resident at 320 Elkin Ave. told state police that someone stole a Snap-On OBD2 scanner from his home between 8:10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. April 3.
Someone stole 17 gift certificates with a total value of $700 on Jan. 15 or 16 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, state police reported Wednesday.
Elderton, Armstrong County
State police found suspected drugs and related paraphernalia in a car on East Saltwork Street during an unrelated investigation on Tuesday, according to a report. The owner of the car, a 31-year-old man from Indiana, has not yet been charged, police said.
Bell Township, Westmoreland County
A motorist fled at 11 p.m. Monday in a vehicle that hit a parked car along Nelson Road near Learn Road, state police reported. The parked vehicle sustained damage to the passenger-side door. Troopers at Kiski Valley asked anyone who knows about the incident to phone (724) 727-3434.
