Drug violation

State police said they discovered drug paraphernalia in possession of a 35-year-old Vandergrift man at 7:25 p.m. Thursday, when he was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of a heroin overdose.

Troopers reported no charges would be filed in connection with the incident.

 

Brookville, Jefferson County

Theft

A 27-year-old Punxsutawney woman told state police that an HP brand 15.6-inch notebook computer valued at $279 was stolen between 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 p.m. Tuesday from 9018 Knoxdale Road.

 

Bell Township, Clearfield County

Fraud

Somebody used personal information of a 69-year-old man from Bell Township and attempted to open four credit cards in his name between May 6 and 8, according to state police at Punxsutawney.

Troopers asked anyone with information about the incident to phone (814) 938-0510.
