MOUNT PENN (AP) — Police in eastern Pennsylvania are looking for a man they say stalked an 85-year-old woman and attacked her after following her off a bus.

Authorities say the alleged assailant was captured on video as he followed the woman off the bus in Mount Penn, Berks County.

They say around 12:15 p.m. Monday, the woman was headed home after running errands in downtown Reading and was knocked to the ground while walking home. She was hospitalized in stable condition with head and shoulder injuries.

Witnesses say the attacker was 6-feet-1 and about 250 pounds.

Central Berks Regional Police Chief Raymond Serafin said investigators believe the robber rode the same bus as the victim and “stalked her the whole way.”

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
