NEW CASTLE (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man was arrested for allegedly putting a gun to a snowplow driver’s head.

TV station KDKA reported that Richard Eckert, 64, of New Castle, was arrested Monday.

Police allege that Eckert became angry when the driver accidentally pushed some snow into his yard while cleaning a neighbor’s driveway. Eckert is accused of taking a .22-caliber pistol out of his coat, pressing it against the driver’s cheek, and telling him to remove the snow.

There were no injuries, and Eckert was released on $10,000 bond after being charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, and recklessly endangering another person, police said.

A message left at a phone number listed in Eckert’s name was not immediately returned.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 19.
