State police plan Labor Day patrols

by By The Indiana Gazette on August 27, 2013 10:40 AM

Pennsylvania State Police have advised motorists that they will be aggressively patrolling roads during the Labor Day weekend.

Police said they’ll be keeping a sharp eye out for drivers who are intoxicated, speeding or who have failed to buckle their seat belts. Troopers also will be looking for drivers who are being too aggressive on the roads.

Police also remind drivers that with area schools in session, more pedestrians will be along roadways.

Therefore, drivers should be extra careful, especially during school bus pickup and drop-off times.
