State police release statistics for June
State police, Indiana
State police in Indiana responded to 777 incidents in June, and made 115 criminal arrests, according to the monthly statistical report.
There were 158 criminal offenses reported. Troopers cleared 85 offenses.
Troopers also responded to 77 accidents last month, of which 12 were hit-and-run incidents and seven were DUI-related. There were no fatalities, though 14 people were injured and 22 people were arrested for DUI.
According to the report, 667 traffic citations were issued, 387 warnings were issued and 16 seat-belt citations were issued.
They made 248 commercial vehicle inspections and 18 motorists were assisted. Two child safety seat citations were issued.
State police, Kiski Valley
State police in Kiski Valley responded to 686 incidents in June according to the monthly statistical report.
According to the report, 50 criminal offenses were reported, 32 criminal arrests were made and 27 criminal offenses were cleared.
Troopers responded to 24 crashes, 2 of them being DUI related.
Four accidents were hit and run and nine injuries were reported.
Troopers issued 592 traffic citations, 267 warnings, 12 seat-belt citations and three child safety seat citations.
According to the report, 22 motorists were assisted and troopers inspected 26 commercial motor vehicles.
