Two face trafficking charges

Two suspects face narcotics trafficking charges in Indiana District Court.

Crystal Wilson, 24, of Ernest, and Kelsey Tarr, 24, of Coalport, Clearfield County, each were charged by Indiana Borough police with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after their arrests at 6:26 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 400 block of Church Street.

They were found in possession of almost 4 ounces of marijuana, according to a news release.

Officers also charged each with tampering with evidence, obstruction of administration of law, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

In the news release, police reported only that an investigation led them to Wilson and Tarr.

Both were lodged at Indiana County Jail until Aug. 28, when they were released on unsecured bond of $25,000 and directed to appear for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 2.
