Identity theft

State police at Indiana are investigating an ongoing case of identity theft.

A 31-year-old White Township woman told police that an unknown individual has a record of using her driver’s license number to return items at multiple Walmart stores between March 30 and Saturday across the state for various amounts of money.

The individual used the number three times in the last three months to return items, including at the Walmart store along Oakland Avenue.

Drug charges

Ian David Dunmire, 25, of Blairsville, is facing drug charges in a criminal complaint filed with Bradenville Magisterial District Judge Mark Bilik.

State police at Kiski Valley said that on Friday at 5:50 p.m., Dunmire was found to be in possession of heroin and related drug paraphernalia at a location along Route 217, near Cherry Street.

Burglary

State police at Kiski Valley are investigating a burglary in which someone took $1,150 worth of tools from an unlocked garage in the 200 block of Auction Bar Road.

A Derry Township woman told police that the incident occurred sometime between Thursday and Sunday.
