Burglary

State police at Punxsutawney are investigating a burglary that took place from a backyard shed at a location along Burnside McGee Highway.

The theft, involving items with an estimated value of $435, occurred sometime between June 30 and July 3.

Trooper Ross Munsee said a 26-year-old Glen Campbell man reported the following items were taken: a Homelite 20-inch chainsaw (valued at $100), a jar full of sockets ($30), an unknown brand oscillating saw ($50), men’s Carolina work boots size 9 1/2 ($200), a five-gallon gas can ($15), and a 15-gallon red and white Coleman cooler ($40).

Burglary

A 61-year-old Punxsutawney man reported to state police that two items valued at $460 were stolen from a residence along Young Road.

The alleged burglary occurred sometime between May 15 and June 26.

The man told police a Taurus 44 magnum revolver (valued at $400) was taken, along with a brown leather cowboy western-style holster ($60).
