Five Most Wanted

List updated July 12.

BREAKING NEWS: Police arrested Justin Libengood on Sunday in Westmoreland County, troopers at Indiana announced this afternoon.

According to a report, Jeannette city police arrested Libengood "without incident" and placed him in custody of troopers from Indiana County. Libengood has been sent to Indiana County Jail to await court action.

State police at Indiana have rebooted this month’s Five Most Wanted list, having taken three of the original five suspects into custody within the first 12 days on the month.

Those on the newly issued list:

• Justin Libengood, 30, of Somerset, charged with conspiracy to robbery, aggravated assault, prohibited possession of a firearm and discharge of a firearm in an occupied structure on July 1 at the Days Inn in Burrell Township.

Libengood’s name was first publicly reported in connection with the incident on Wednesday, as state police reported that a co-defendant in the incident, David McGinnis, had been arrested to face a charge of discharge of a firearm in to an occupied structure.

McGinnis, one of the original Five Most Wanted published July 2, turned out to have been wounded in the disturbance, according to state police. Troopers believe Libengood tried to rob McGinnis.

• Eric Vaugh Young Jr., 27, of Pittsburgh, who has eluded police since Feb. 13, 2017, when Greensburg-based drug investigators charged him with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and conspiracy to possession of drugs in White Township.

• Andrew Kabangai, 22, of Philadelphia, charged with burglary and theft March 18, 2018, in White Township. Police released no details of the case.

• Savannah Rose Gray, 24, of Latrobe

• Austin Hopkins, 24, of Saltsburg, State police reported the pair stole money and a cellphone from a Saltsburg woman, 20, and a juvenile victim on July 7 in Conemaugh Township. Troopers charged that Gray distracted the victims while Hopkins pilfered the goods and threatened one of the victims with a rifle. Both are charged with a third-degree felony count of theft; Hopkins faces additional charges of making terroristic threats and receiving stolen property.

Troopers asked anyone with information about any of these suspects, or any suspects connected with any other crimes in the region, to telephone the Indiana station at (724) 357-1960.
