Meth bust

Indiana Borough police said in a report issued Friday that two men were cited for drug-related offenses after a report of illegal activity on Feb. 12 at 4:37 p.m. at a residence in the 1400 block of Philadelphia Street.

Police said a search warrant was executed and approximately 2 grams of crystal methamphetamine was seized, along with several items of drug paraphernalia.

Police said criminal complaints filed with Indiana Magisterial District Judge Guy B. Haberl charged an 18-year-old Indiana man with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia, and a 35-year-old Indiana man with possession of drug paraphernalia.

All counts were listed as ungraded misdemeanors.

Noise, underage drinking

Borough police said four people were cited after complaints were received at 1:46 a.m. Friday about a noisy gathering in the 500 block of Church Street. Police said two 20-year-old Homer City men and a juvenile from Blairsville were cited for underage drinking, while a 20-year-old resident of that address was cited under the borough code for a noise violation.
