State police at Troop A, Indiana, said a 22-year-old Turtle Creek, Allegheny County, man was stopped on Saturday at 1:05 a.m. along Wayne Avenue and Old Route 119.

Troopers said they found the man was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, transferred to Indiana Regional Medical Center for a legal blood draw, then was processed and released to a friend.

ELDERTON, ARMSTRONG COUNTY

Harassment reported

On Jan. 9 at 3:05 p.m., state police at Troop D, Kittanning, were dispatched to Elderton Elementary School for a 12-year-old female who had reported being harassed by her mother a week before.

The incident remains under investigation.

COWANSHANNOCK tOWNSHIP, ARMSTRONG COUNTY

Overdose reported

On Friday at 8:36 p.m., state police at Troop D, Kittanning, responded to reports of an overdose.

Troopers said an unidentified individual was revived by emergency medical personnel and taken to a hospital.

State police said drugs and related paraphernalia were seized.
