TRACY LEVITZ: A key to walkability

Concerning the Indiana Free Library’s present situation, no one could’ve said it better than Thomas L. Harris in his recent letter to the Gazette (“Let Indiana library buy building for $1”).

His argument that the library’s downtown location serves as an easily accessible “anchor” (not to mention its proximity to public transportation) is especially important at a time when there is growing interest in making Indiana even more walkable and bike-able.
