Reed, Toomey to hold outreach day April 4

State Rep. Dave Reed, R-Indiana, announced Tuesday that U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey’s office will hold a federal outreach day at Reed’s Blairsville office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.

Staff from Toomey’s Pittsburgh office will be on hand to assist constituents who have questions or problems with the federal government including, but not limited to: Internal Revenue Services questions, veterans’ services, Social Security, housing and other federal issues.

In addition, Reed and his staff will be available to handle state questions from constituents.

“Earlier this month we held a similar event in my Homer City office and were very pleased with the results,” Reed said.

“I am looking forward to having Senator Toomey’s staff meet with constituents from southern Indiana County and assist with their federal questions and concerns.”

Reed’s office is located on 122 E. Market St., Blairsville, and is staffed Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call (724) 459-3245.
