The documentary “FrackNation” will be shown Thursday at 7 p.m. at the downtown Indiana Theater.
The filmmaker, Phelim McAleer, a Scottish journalist known for his documentaries, will speak and answer questions posed by attendees.
“FrackNation” has been shown in hundreds of communities across Colorado, Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania with the purpose of making people more aware of the hidden facts of an industry and its impact on the land and its people.
Funded by a grant from an independent entity, KickStart, the film has no financial backing from the gas drilling industry.
Locally, this free showing is being sponsored by the Indiana Armstrong Patriots as a way to keep the public informed on pertinent issues.
