An all-terrain vehicle hit a fence and drove into a pasture on Nehrig Road around 10 p.m. Saturday, then fled the scene, state police in Indiana reported.
Weylin Storm Fratzke, 18, of Indiana, was arrested March 27 and held in the Indiana County Jail after he was seen on video surveillance taking cellphones valued at $1,300 from the Walmart electronics department, state police in Indiana reported. Police said he also damaged a peg board and security locks in the process. Police reported the incident Sunday. The charges were held for court after a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
State police in Indiana charged Shane Edwards, 24, of Central City, with criminal mischief around 3:45 a.m. March 26 at 204 Medlar Drive. Police said Edwards broke through Stephanie Jarvie’s door with a chair and knocked over her dresser, causing $150 worth of damage.
