MEETING: The Purchase Line School District retired female employees will meet for lunch at noon April 17 at Hoss’s Steak and Sea House, White Township.
TEA: Indiana County’s Link to Aging and Disability Resources will host a caregiver tea for those who provide care to the elderly and to disabled individuals over the age of 17 in Indiana County. The event will be held at Aging Services Inc., 1055 Oak St., Indiana, from 1 to 4 p.m. May 2. Guest speakers will be attorney Mike Clark and registered nurse Amy Simon from Community Health Connections. Clark will be presenting on power of attorney, living wills, advanced directives and trusts. Simon will be presenting on Alzheimer’s behavior and understanding. MEETING: The Indiana County Area Society for Human Resource Management will hold its monthly meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
The guest speaker this month will be Andrew M. Gracan, vice president, Retirement Plan Advisory Group, who will speak about financial wellness and fiduciary responsibility. Drew has more than 18 years of experience in the fully bundled defined contribution, defined benefit and investment only segments of the retirement plan services industry. He has extensive technical, marketing, product and fiduciary knowledge of all market segments and distribution channels of the qualified plan business. Drew holds multiple registrations and licenses.
