CLYMER — Clymer Borough announced its annual spring cleanup details at a meeting Tuesday.
From April 30 to May 4, borough residents only may put items in the Dumpsters at the Clymer Maintenance Department on Adams Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
No tires, oil, paint batteries or items containing Freon will be accepted.
In other business, council:
- Accepted the 2012 audit which had no findings. The borough finished 2012 with $10,000 more than the previous year, said Rob Barto, borough manager.
- Thanked Mike Keith, a Clymer firefighter and Rayne Township supervisor, for the sale of a surplus street sweeper from Rayne Township to Clymer for $500.
