The YMCA will conduct its third annual Spring Clean Out from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4.
The event will take place at the Indiana County YMCA on Ben Franklin Road.
Community members and organizations will be selling their gently used items as they clean their garages and basements.
Those who would like to reserve a 20x20-foot space may do so for $25. Side-by-side spots are also available. All spots are being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The registration fee benefits the 2013 YMCA Strong Kids Annual Fund. The profit from what you sell is yours to keep.
If you would rather donate your gently used items, the YMCA will sell them for you. Simply bring your items (no clothes) to the YMCA between 2 to 6 p.m. from April 30 to May 2.
Proceeds from the sale of all donated items will also go directly into the Strong Kids fund.
This year, in addition to food vendors, 5 R Processors Limited will be accepting your unwanted household electronics for disposal. A list of acceptable electronics is available by contacting the YMCA at (724)463-9622.
To register or for more information, contact Connie Bence at (724) 464-7370.
