Church to hold spring auction

A Cinco de Mayo Spring Goods and Services Auction will be held Saturday at the First Unitarian Universalist Church, White Township.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; the auction begins at 7 p.m. with Michael R. Charnego as auctioneer.

The community is invited to have fun with the festivities including door prizes, Tex-Mex food and refreshments. This year a 2001 Dodge Caravan and a baby grand piano are among the goods to be auctioned.

Other goods include unique antiques, new household and personal items, crafts, desserts, artwork, jewelry and themed baskets. Services auction items include dinners prepared and served in the privacy of the purchaser’s home and lessons on dancing, felting, computing, gardening and photography.
