Beginning Monday at 7 a.m., traffic pattern changes will be in place as part of the bridge preservation project including the bridge on Route 56 over Blacklick Creek, near United High School, and the bridges on Route 22 East and West over Route 56 in Indiana County.
• Route 22 East to Route 56 Ramp will open and the detour will be lifted
• One-lane alternating traffic controlled by a temporary signal on Route 56 between Brush Valley and East Wheatfield Township
• Single lane closures controlled by flaggers on Route 22 East and West between Route 2024 (Philadelphia Street) and Route 403 in East Wheatfield Township

This $1,068,321 bridge preservation project is a carryover from 2012 and is being constructed by Russell Standard Corp., of Pittsburgh.
