Jessica Harper was selected as the Blairsville High School Indiana Kiwanis Club Senior of the Month for March.

She is the daughter of Rick and Cheryl Harper, of Blairsville.

Jessica has been very involved within her school as well as her community while maintaining academic success at Blairsville High School. She was nominated Miss Teen of Pennsylvania in the summer of 2012. She is also the student council president and a member of Remembering Adam Drug Free Program as well as the National Honor Society. She has been involved in the musical while also participating in softball, track and volleyball, in which she was the team captain during her senior year.

Jessica has also volunteered as a church altar server for the past 10 years. Jessica has helped with the “Big Blairsville Clean Up” on multiple occasions and has volunteered at the local library for the past two summers.

After high school Jessica plans to attend Saint Vincent College for three years and then Duquesne University for three years to earn a doctorate in physical therapy. She would like to become involved with the Peace Corps directly after college.
