Chicken and holupki dinner
A Father’s Day chicken and holupki dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church, corner of Tanoma Road and Route 286 East, Rayne Township.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 through 12.
Children 4 and younger eat for free. Everyone is welcome and takeout is available.
ROBINSON — The Helping Hands of the Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church is holding a turkey dinner on Father’s Day, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, in the church building at 332 Mary St., Robinson.
The cost is $8 for adults; $3 for children 5 to 12 years old; and free for children 4 and younger. Takeout is available.
Gospel meeting series
Joe Norton will lead a series of gospel meetings, beginning Wednesday and running through June 23 at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, on Old Route 119 in Indiana.
Meeting times are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; and 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday.
Norton began evangelizing in 1966 and has been on foreign missions to Mexico, India and the Philippines. Most of his work has been in Africa.
For the past 18 years, he has worked for the Church of Christ in Ghana, where he conducts study programs for church leaders and oversees plans for church growth.
He and his wife, JoAnn, live in Mansfield, Texas.

SAXONBURG — A two-day yard sale benefiting Lutherlyn Day Camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 21 and 22 in Centennial Hall at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Saxonburg, rain or shine. Vendors can sell their items at tables available for $10 each. Donations are also being accepted. To rent a table, contact Gayle Gundlach at (724) 352-4205 by Wednesday. Setup is Thursday. The camp will be held July 8 to 12 at St. Luke’s Church.
CLYMER — The Clymer Ministerial potluck picnic will be held from 2:30 to 6 p.m. June 23 at the Sherman Street Park, Clymer. The park is located behind Marion Center Bank.
Supper will be served at 4 p.m. with music led by Anthony Fraser at 5 p.m. There will also be free games and fellowship. The event is free and open to everyone.
A free-will offering will be accepted to help support the Clymer Ministerial’s efforts to help local people in need.
JOHNSTOWN — The second annual convention for Jehovah’s Witnesses will be held June 28 to 30 at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena, Johnstown. The program runs from 9:20 a.m. to 4:55 p.m. June 28 and 29 and 9:20 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. June 30.

Worship in the Street
BLAIRSVILLE — Worship in the Street will be held on July 12 at the bandstand (old Diamond) in Blairsville. A barbecue dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. with a worship service to follow at 7:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Blairsville Free Methodist Church Celebrate Recovery.
