A Pittsburgh man was airlifted from the scene of a wreck involving his motorcycle and a dirt bike at 2:50 p.m. Saturday on the Sample Run Hill section of Route 286 between Indiana and Clymer.
James Nee, 63, was sent to UPMC-Presbyterian, where a spokeswoman said Saturday night that no information about Nee was available.
State police reported a 17-year-old boy from Marion Center rode a dirt bike on the shoulder of Route 286, turned onto the highway near Short Road and hit Nee’s passing motorcycle. The youth, whose name was not released, was transported by Citizens’ Ambulance Service to Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The Clymer fire department assisted at the scene of the accident.
