Austin Homer was mobbed at home plate after he hit a three-run home run in the first inning of Indiana’s 10-0 victory over Shannock Valley in the Little League District 7 10-year-old tournament Saturday at the Indiana Little League complex. Homer finished 5-for-5, and Danny Williams, who was on base when Homer went deep, banged out two hits. Lucas Connel started and picked up the win, and Zack Eisenhower pitched in relief. Bo Swartz had two hits for Shannock Valley. Indiana plays at Clymer on Monday, with the winner advancing to take on New Bethlehem on Wednesday in the championship round.
